GIRLS AND WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Women are more likely to be credit constrained, have restricted access to wage labor market and have limited decision-making and bargaining power within the household. True women empowerment takes place when women challenge the existing norms and culture, to effectively improve their well being.

Investing in women’s capabilities empowers them to make a choice which is a valuable goal in itself but it also contributes to greater economic growth and development.
Seed Capital Investment combines access to low-cost financial services with a process of self management and development for the women who are Self Help Group members. SHGs enable women to grow their savings and to access the credit which banks are increasingly willing to lend.
